软管泵的典型用途：

软管泵主要有泵壳、转子体、减速机、机座和软管等5大部分组成。泵的耐久性主要决定于管子的弹性和耐腐蚀性，其流量与电动机的转速和管子内径大小有关。

一些人直觉地认为，介质的研磨性决定了软管的使用寿命，这是一种误解。研磨性介质确实对软管内壁有磨损，使已知的软管壁厚变薄，从而因压缩不严产生内泄或倒流及流量下降；内泄进一步增大了内壁的磨损速度；但高质量的软管泵都应具备软管压缩的调节装置，在泵的使用过程中需不断地调整以阻止内泄和流量下降。在不考虑输送介质和软管材料相容性的前提下，输送强研磨性介质和非研磨性粘液，软管的寿命是相同的。实际上除了软管本身的胶种及制造质量外，决定软管寿命的首要因素是压缩软管的次数；第二位因素是压缩软管的方式力度和由此产生的磨擦热。换句话说，软管的失效是由于压缩次数的累积及磨擦热引起的疲劳老化。使软管寿命延长停工期间隔的较好办法是减少压缩软管的次数、采用对软管较小损害的压缩方式及的压缩力度。挤压泵用于污泥焚烧/围海造地/危废焚烧/隧道施工/餐厨垃圾发酵/矿山充填/煤泥发电/煤矿巷道清淤/尾矿干排/矿浆进高压反应釜/水泥厂协同危废污泥焚烧/电厂协同污泥焚烧等行业。彻底摆脱了传统泵叶轮和轴密封的运行模式，对粘度大的挤压泵具有的优势，和传统输送泵有着截然不同的原理，应用范围广。
